IRDA revises shareholding declaration format

IRDA has, vide a circular dated June 16, 2010[1], revised the format for declaration of shareholding by the insurance companies and the Indian promoters of the insurance companies. The format has been revised to capture the information about the pledge or any other encumbrance, if any created on the shares.
